I have found a wonderful website that has discount vouchers online.
This site gives discounts at hundreds and hundreds of places, both online and offline. You can save big, too - sometimes up to 75% off, with lots of vouchers and coupons to get 50%.
The list of supported sites, vendors is impressive, too. Places like Apple iTunes, Border's, Shell, Amoco, DKNY, Docker's, Dell, Sony, Sharper Image, Safeway, Fannie May, Walgreens, The Body Shop, and so many more I don't have room to list.
Circut City
You also get coupons in the mail - over $80 worth of savings each month, along with a discount card that is accepted at over 175,000 stores. Most of these stores are right down the street - both local retailers and the large chain stores.
There's also cash-back shopping at 600 of the biggest websites, so each time you make a purchase, you get cash back at the end of the month in the form of a gift card, which can be used to offset any future purchases at any of the participating retailers.
Circut City
By using a combination of the discount card, the coupons in the mail, and the cash back rebates online, I have managed to save a little over $140 on my regular purchases.
I even went out with my wife, and at both our favorite restaurant, and our local movie theater, I had coupons which were accepted, and saved us $17.34 on the evening - money that we normally spend.
Circut City
It costs just under $20 a month to be a member at this club, but with the savings I have made, it is great value.
They also have an option to upgrade to an associate, and if you choose that, you can earn commissions on membership sales, and quickly earn more than your monthly membership fee.
If you are looking for discount vouchers, I think this is worth a look.

Today's college student needs the portability of a laptop, the desktop just doesn't cut it anymore. But, many of the features included in a laptop are not absolutes and are negotiable. Different students will require different memory, graphics and accessories.
Circut City
One feature that is negotiable is the memory. In most cases, the standard ram and hard drive will be more than sufficient for the average college student. However, if your major is in computer graphics or programming you might require a more advanced memory system. Call your advisor or someone in the department and ask about your computer needs.
The following are features that you definitely want to include in your system:

Circut City
If you are going to study science, mathematics or pre-med you will need a scientific graphing calculator. Don't waste your time with plain calculators or other scientific calculators. You need a graphing calculator. The best graphing calculators for the money are the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus.
Recommended stores: Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, Staples and ebay.
Price Range: $79 - $199
The above items will also require certain accessories such as blank CD's and DVD's. You will want to get a good laptop case or carrier for transporting your computer. Also, you may want to get a laptop mouse if you have trouble using a touch pad.

Really the Best Buy
Circut City
As the holiday shopping season is days upon us, investors are trying to locate the perfect gift for themselves in the form of rewarding shares. With the launch of the next generation of video games upon us as well as the continued advancements in technology for the consumer, there may be no better stock to invest some capital in than Best Buy (BBY). However as the economy is not in a stable position, and could be turning for the worst in terms of growth, how long should you hold on to this near perfect equity?
Circut City
To first bring in the fundamentals, Best Buy really uses its name with conviction not only for its products but for its shares as well. Supporting tremendous growth percentage wise in terms of margins relative to revenue and operating income, while much can be attributed to strong economic growth, such deduction does not deviate from the fact that Best Buy is an excellently managed and run company. Producing more total assets than liabilities year over year, Best Buy, with a P/E ratio of near 22, is impressive compared to rivals such as Circuit City who’s own P/E is hovering near 26. Granted, the difference may be marginal and there is a good chance that Circuit City will produce figures similar to Best Buy, the real comparison is that over the last six months, Best Buy has increased about 20% higher in terms of share price, sustaining a lower P/E ratio while Circuit City has been floating around 17 trying to keep even.
While such a short term analysis may not provide the best scrutiny, as over the last five years both companies have done fairly well in terms of making investors happy, I feel that Best Buy with the strong P/E and stronger fundamentals should produce happier investors relative to its rival.
Circut City
Now, you may be wondering why I expect Best Buy to produce incredible holiday season sales. As recently reported, the unemployment rate, currently at 4.4%, remains at one of the lowest levels of all time. What that means for shareholders of Best Buy can be examined by the consumers who are obtaining these jobs. As the labor force increases, more consumers are going to be granted employment which will result in a higher overall domestic income for America. Since most Americans utilize a process of a negative savings rate, there is a good chance, relative to most years, consumption of luxury goods such as video games or computers will increase in large margins especially during this holiday season.
What that means is that margins will dramatically increase in the short run for the next few quarters, and if you are to buy shares of this stock now and sell it before the March earning results poor in, you should see a healthy profit in your portfolio. This is especially true with the video game launches of Wii and PS3 which should have a tremendous impact as the Gamecube and Xbox did five years ago sprouting the share price of Best Buy 250% in less than a year. However, as such an favorable economic foundation remains strong now, because there is still slowing down in many parts of the overall economy, such growth should not sustain all of next year, and it would not be wise to hold on to this company if a strong recession hits.
Circut City
Nevertheless, if you feel the urge to keep your shares, Best Buy, besides one instance (which was the result of a split), has done fairly well during times of economic slowdown. So while I wouldn’t advise it, if you must, holding on to your shares as a long term investment would not be that terrible to forgone profits.
Thus with the holiday shopping season approaching rapidly, as an investor, the best buy of the season would be Best Buy shares. With a fantastic fundamentals, a fairly stronger presence over its competitors, and a currently favorable economic situation to feed upon, I would not be hesitant to take a short term risk in locating some luck with Best Buy. However, as the economy is always rapidly changing, and as the happy Christmas season turns into a dreaded long winter, I would start to be a bit wary about owning shares of this company past the spring months of 2007, especially if the recession turns to be a hard landing.

Jeff Gordon Earns 77th Career Victory! - SCI April 30th Issue - Circut City
Circut City
Next stop on the Nextel Cup Schedule is Richmond International Raceway
Next Saturday is Cinco de Mayo; the celebration of Mexico's defeat of Napoleon’s army on May 5th, 1862. Expect a big celebration NASCAR style as the Nextel Cup and Busch teams head to Richmond International Raceway to battle it out under the lights.
Richmond has been labeled by many as the "raciest" track on the circuit. The 3/4 mile track offers up 2 groves that produce great side-by-side racing while allowing the cars to get up to speedway like speeds.
Circut City
Of all current drivers with 2 or more career starts at Richmond, Kyle Busch has had the most success. In 4 starts, Busch has an average finish of 3rd.
Other drivers to note:
Denny Hamlin - Average finish of 8th
Dale Earnhardt Jr - Average finish of 10th
Clint Boyer - Average finish of 11th
Ryan Newman - Average finish of 12th
Next Week's Schedule:
Nextel Cup: @ Richmond International Raceway (all times EST)
05/04/07 - 11:15am NASCAR Nextel Cup Practice - Crown Royal Presents The Jim Stewart 400
05/04/07 - 06:10pm NASCAR Nextel Cup Qualifying - Crown Royal Presents The Jim Stewart 400
05/05/07 - 07:30pm NASCAR Nextel Cup Aaron's Crown Royal Presents The Jim Stewart 400
Busch Series: @ Richmond International Raceway
05/04/07 - 10:10am NASCAR Busch Series Practice - Circuit City 250 Presented by FUNAI race
05/04/07 - 04:05pm NASCAR Busch Series Qualifying - Circuit City 250 Presented by FUNAI race
05/04/07 - 08:00pm NASCAR Busch Series Circuit City 250 Presented by FUNAI race
Craftsman Truck Series off until May 18th at Lowe's Motor Speedway
Jeff Gordon Overtakes Earnhardt in Career Wins!
Watching the closing laps of yesterday's Aaron's 499, I would never have guessed Jeff Gordon could win. He was mired back in 16th position in a single file pack with 10 laps to go. Finally, Gordon with the help of teammate Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart began to make his assault on the lead cars.
Circut City
After bobbing and weaving, and pushing his way to the front, Gordon was able to overtake the lead position from Jamie McMurray before the second to last caution flag came out. Then on the first lap of what was meant to be a green-white checkered finish, Gordon claimed the win when mayhem broke out deep in the pack. In a green-white checkered finish, NASCAR will end the race if a caution comes out.
For some, Gordon's victory was tough to swallow. The win, Gordon's 77th in the Cup series, moved him ahead of the late Dale Earnhardt on a day that would have been Earnhardt's 56th birthday. But for many, Gordon's win is further validation that we are seeing a future legend make his mark in the history books.
Hendrick Teams Continue Their Domination of the 2007 Season!
Six of nine. That's the number of races won by a Hendrick driver (6) out of nine races thus far in the 2007 season. By combining resources amongst four Cup teams, and staffing each team with some of the best personnel in NASCAR, Rick Hendrick has amassed more wins, 155 total between all Cup teams, than any other owner in NASCAR's history.
Tired of losing out to DEI in restrictor plate races, Rick Hendrick appointed a specially staffed group within his organization to research and develop top-level restrictor plate cars for all four of his Cup teams. The panel paid off! In the last 14 restrictor plate races, Hendrick Motorsports has combined for 8 wins; a 57% winning percentage.
Circut City
Through ingenious organization on Rick Hendrick's part, he has built the premier team in NASCAR's history. He has found that there is strength in numbers by splitting the cost of running key operations such as the engine department across all teams. That kind of business smarts makes Rick Hendrick one of the top owners in all professional sports!
Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway Recap
Yesterday's Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway gave fans the restrictor plate action they've come to love! The 2.67 mile long track is the longest on the circuit and allows cars with restrictive power to run at speeds approaching 200mph while being bundled together like one large swarm of bees.
While the action during the race was non-stop, the finish was anti-climatic. Under the final caution of the day, Jeff Gordon claimed the checkered flag and his 77th career victory. The final caution was waved during the green-white checkered finish as cars were wrecking all over the back stretch. When the caution dropped, Gordon was in the lead.
Loving fans adorned Gordon by showering him with beer cans from the stands. None-the-less, Gordon shrugged off the negativity and celebrated his historic win.
How the top drivers faired:
Circut City
Jeff Gordon made a late race charge that only he could pull off. Coming from 16th position with 10 laps remaining, Gordon parternered with Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson to charge to the front of the pack. On the final caution of the day under a green-white checker condition, Gordon claimed his 77th victory of all time. He now sits comfortably in first, 203 points ahead of second place Jeff Burton.
Tony Stewart had a tumultuous week that was anything but staged. Earlier last week, Tony made comments on his weekly Sirius radio show that some of the debris cautions NASCAR calls are akin to WWE staged performances. Unfortunately for Stewart, the 6am Friday morning meeting with Mike Helton followed by the late race crash at Talladega were all too real. Stewart finished the race in 27th position and now sits 6th in points.
Dale Earnhardt Jr had one of the strongest cars of the day, but fear of running out of gas perhaps held Earnhardt back from charging for the win. Jr finished in 8th position and now sits 13th in points.
Circut City
Jimmie Johnson is exhibiting the same championship form he had last year. The reigning champion finished in 2nd place, his 6th top 5 finish of the year. He now sits 4th in points.
Kevin Harvick returned to top form by finishing 4th at Talladega. Last year's Busch champion now sits 7th in points.

Taking A Hard Look At VOIP Services - circut city
circut city
It seems like almost everyone is pushing VOIP these days. You can hardly walk into Best Buy or Circuit City without seeing all kinds of ads and flyers for VOIP services. There are VOIP ads included with many of your credit card statements, as well as from your home DSL or residential cable Internet services provider. How do you know which one is best and how do you separate fact from marketing hype?
My advice is to take a long hard look at what is being offered. First and foremost, you need to understand a little bit about how VOIP works. You don't need to understand it down to deep technical degrees, but you do need to understand that VOIP uses your high-speed Internet connection to make and receive phone calls.
What this means to you is that if your residential high-speed Internet connection is not reliable and stable, you are not going to have a good experience with VOIP, and that statement is true regardless of which VOIP service you go with. Almost all home high speed Internet connection say they provide some speed. But what they don't tell you is that this is the DOWN speed, or the rate at which information comes into your computer from the Internet. What they are NOT telling you is two things:
circut city
1. That "down" speed is a theoretical maximum only. With residential high speed, you are SHARING your circuit connection with perhaps as many as 50 or more other households, and the only time you will probably see the advertised speed is if each and every one of those 50+ other households are not using their connection.
2. Your "up" speed, or the speed at which information goes from your home to the Internet is typically very much reduced, sometimes to the point where it is only about twice the speed of a dialup connection.
So what this means is that you stand a very good chance of running out of bandwidth, especially if you are trying to carry on a VOIP conversation while your spouse and son are surfing on your connection at the same time. You will hear pauses in the conversation and the conversation will be spotty and broken.
This is NOT the fault of the VOIP provider. The VOIP provider is assuming that you have a rock solid high speed Internet connection, and they have no control over your Internet connection. It's like going out and buying the best tires that money can buy, but after you put them on your 62 VW, that will not make it a competitive race car.
circut city
Assuming your residential Internet connection is solid and reliable, examine each offering to see what it provides. VOIP service typically includes unlimited local and long distance calling within the continental US, and some providers also include unlimited calling in Canada, Puerto Rico, and other places. But for that basic service, some carriers are charging $40 per month or more, while others are charging under $20 per month.
Look at what you are paying for and whether you will really use or if you really need more extras than that. Why pay $40 when the services you need 99% of the time can be had for under $20?
VOIP is a very competitive market these days and you need to understand what you are paying for and how much you are paying for "extras". Also be aware of how much you are paying for the extras and if you really need them. VOIP is a great technology but make sure you are getting as much bang for your buck as you should so that you can enjoy your VOIP services.

DivX Video Format Explained - Circut City
Circut City
DivX is known to create a balance between quality and file size with its highly efficient compression abilities. And because of that, it s one of the codecs used for ripping where audio and video are copied from a source to the PC hard disk for archiving and transcoding.
The commercial DivX competes with Microsoft's Video for Windows in WMV, Apple's QuickTime in the MOV and RealNetwork's Real Video in the RMM file formats. An open source version released by Xvid solutions in 2001 is the Xvid file format.
Circut City
While DivX has long been renowned for its excellent video quality, its free and open source equivalent Xvid today offers comparable quality, also based on MPEG-4 Part 2 (MPEG-4 ASP). In a series of subjective quality tests at Doom9.org, the DivX codec has been successively beaten by Xvid every year since 2003. Confusion clarified
DivX are two different things from two different companies. One is DIVX created by Circuit City, a US electronics retail giant that attempted to market a DVD rental system that used special players and discs. And the other is the DivX multimedia codec trademarked and marketed by DivX, Inc. which is actually a reference to the failed Circuit City system.
Circut City
A short history
DivX roots can be traced back to 1998 as a hacked version of Microsoft's MPEG4 version 3 which is inferior to the MPEG4 that we know today. It was a French hacker Jerome Rota who, rather than modify his video resume which could not play on the new Windows Media Player at that time, reverse-engineered the MPEG4 format together with a German Hacker Max Morice to come up with an MPEG4 format encapsulated in AVI instead of the ASF it originally had. It only took them a week. Between 1998 and 2002, the DVD hacking community had independent hackers enhance the format that later came to have the Divx with a smiley emoticon J attached as version 3.0.
In 2000, Rota was hired by Jorda Greenhall to form a company called DivXNetworks (later renamed to DivX, Inc.) based in the French Riviera. The association resulted in the OpenDivX codec a year later. Its source code was open to anyone and could be downloaded from the projectmayo.com website. The following year, the two left for San Diego and developed the OpenDivX software to become DivX version 4.0. Other developers took the Encore2 software to enhance the open source OpenDivX to arrive at the rival Xvid format.maintained by Xvid Solutions, Inc. The DivX Company continued to enhance the DivX software that in 2002 has taken on the fifth version. By 2004, the features of the DivX format are as complete as we know it today. In May 2007, the Windows Vista version DivX 6.6 for the PC and the Mac was released.
Circut City
The advantages and benefits of using DivX
DivX found itself at the heart of video piracy in the late 90s as its format became widely popular for ripping copyrighted DVD materials for bootleg replication and distribution. A number of generic DVD players as well as branded ones are claiming to play DivX materials
What's so appealing about the format is that it's free. Same with the software players you can use to play it with. It belongs to the open source community together with Xvid offering competitive if not better quality.

e-CircuitBreakers.com Explains the Important Role of Circuit Breakers -Circut City
Circut City
According to e-CircuitBreakers.com, circuit breakers are devices that stop the electrical current of a circuit in the event of excess or very high voltage.
(PRWEB) August 18, 2005 -- According to e-CircuitBreakers.com, circuit Breakers are devices that stop the electrical current of a circuit in the event of excess or very high voltage. Circuit breakers are handy, not only because they can protect against electrical fires but also because they can be reset. When a fuse blows out, it must be replaced each time, whereas circuit breakers are easily reset when tripped.
Electrical circuit breakers are probably the most important safety feature in a building.
A circuit breaker measures the amount of heat produced by the current or by the magnetic field created by the small coil inside the breaker. When the current becomes too high, the breaker will cut off the circuit to stop it. Fuses serve the same function but can only be used once. Anyone who has blown a fuse can tell you it is much easier to have circuit breakers.
As e-CircuitBreakers.com explains, direct current, or DC circuit breakers, are commonly used in automobiles. DC circuit breakers, unlike alternate current (AC) breakers, only deliver currents in one direction. These types of circuit breakers are a renewable energy delivery source, and special precautions should be taken when using them.
Since all batteries have the capability of producing enormous amounts of energy when short-circuited, care should be taken to properly install the breaker, fuse and disconnects in a vehicle. Autos should have additional protection against over current for the battery and each of the branch circuits. Vehicle fires sometimes result when the owner does not take proper precautions.
About e-circuitbreakers.com
Circuit Breakers provides detailed information about circuit breaker panels, circuit breaker manufacturers, plus advice on how to replace and install circuit breakers and where to buy used and surplus circuit breakers. Where to Buy HD Radios - Circut City
Circut City
HD Radio is a new technology that enables AM and FM radio stations to broadcast their programs digitally, a tremendous technological leap from today's familiar analog broadcasts. These digital broadcasts provide listeners with radically improved audio quality, more radio channels through multicasting, and new data services.
You will most likely find an HD radio at your neighborhood Best Buy or Circuit City – especially if you're looking for an HD car audio system. And Circuit City recently announced that it will soon be selling tabletop units in its retail stores.
There are also several sites on the Internet where you can compare prices from different online sources.
Tabletop HD Radios
Five manufacturers currently offer compact, portable, tabletop HD radios that have amazingly clear, room-filling sound. They are Radiosophy, Sangeon, RadioShack, Polk Audio and Boston Acoustics.. The Boston Acoustics HD Recepter Radio is available through Crutchfield, J&R Music and Computer World, Crutchfield and C. Crane. .RadioShack stores are selling the Accurian HD radio and amazon.com has the Sangeon HDR-1 HD radio.
Polk Audio recently began shipping its I-Sonic Entertainment System. This system has an HD Radio tuner, an XM Satellite tuner and a CD Player. Its announced price is $549.99 after a $50 rebate.
More manufacturers are expected to announce portable, tabletop radios during the first quarter of 2007. And Radiosophy says it expects to begin shipping its MultiStream HD radio in time for holiday giving.
Circut City
HD Car Radios
Six manufacturers have HD Technology radios or tuners for the car. They are JVC, Panasonic, Kenwood, Sanyo, Alpine and Eclipse. The Battle is Over - Blu Ray is Now the Victor in the High Definition DVD Format War - Circut City
Circut City
THE SHORT WAR IS OVER- SONY IS KING OF THE DVD WORLD
Even with the very disappointing overall sales of the latest Playstation format, the PS3, Sony still has something to crow about. Blockbuster's SVP of merchandising, Matthew Smith, has issued a very strong statement that indicates the fact that Blockbuster Video is about to stop renting out Toshiba's new high-def dvd format, HD-DVD, very soon.
He related to the media that since Blockbuster had started renting out both high def DVD formats in more than 250 stores nationwide, that his customers were renting Blu Ray DVD's over HD-Dvd's seventy percent of the time. That kind of overwhelming blow to Toshiba will never be able to be overcome in the future. In fact, Toshiba recently reduced its overall US sales goals by 40 percent, a kind of white flag waving that signifies they know they are being beaten to a bloody pulp by the Sony sales crew.
MOVIE STUDIOS WERE A MAJOR FACTOR
Because Sony was able to get every major movie studio on board with releasing their biggest blockbusters on the Blu Ray format, Sony was able to thwart any exclusive deals that Toshiba had originally signed with Hollywood studios just a few years ago. Also, Sony put a Blu Ray in every PS3 sold, which is currently up to over 1.6 million nationwide sales. That factor, plus the much improving sales of HDTV's as a whole, helped ease Sony's dominance in winning the new format wars.
IN EVERY WAR THERE ARE LOSERS AND WINNERS
The two companies that have been hurt the most in this war are definitely Toshiba and Microsoft. Toshiba put untold millions of dollars worth of reseach and development into coming up with this now almost-forgotten format and will certainly lose a lot more money when they will have to start pulling their thousands of HD-DVD players from the shelves of retail outlets like Best Buy and Circuit City in the near future.
Microsoft also feels a heavy loss because they were just starting to sell more HD-DVD drives which allows X-Box 360 owners that bought one to watch high-def movies from the X-Box 360's hard drive after attaching the HD-DVD upgrade to their X-Box 360 units. The thousands of X-Box 360 owners who spent $200 each on the upgrade units are feeling stung right now to say the very least.
Circut City
THE FUTURE LOOKS EXTREMELY BLEAK FOR HD-DVD
When you do go into a Circuit City store in the weeks to come, you will probably be seeing a lot of close-out specials on HD-DVD players though out the store. Whatever you do, don't buy one! There will not be any new HD-DVD movies coming out from any studio starting in August of this year, so all you will have to look forward to seeing will be the same Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone movies from back in the eighties that are still being re-formatted for the HD-DVD units that have already been sold.
The consumer is the ultimate winner right now, as Blu Ray burners should drop in price substantially within the next few months so you will be able to make copies of all of your Blu Ray discs and share them with your friends and relatives who already own a PS3 or a stand-alone Blu Ray unit. But if you happen to own a HD-DVD player, all is not lost. You can still watch the hundreds of HD-DVD movies available in retail chains throughout America and start saving your money for the inevitably much cheaper Blu Ray stand-alone units that should be coming out before Christmas.

No Service is Better than Stupid Service - CNBC Expert Comments - Circut City
Circut City
After giant Circuit City announced a cutback in its floor staff, alarmists immediately contended that this would spell the end of customer service as that retailer’s patrons knew it.
“They probably won’t miss these folks,” according to Dr. Gary S. Goodman, President of Customersatisfaction.com and best-selling author of 12 books, including MONITORING, MEASURING & MANAGING CUSTOMER SERVICE.
In an onscreen “debate” on CNBC during the program, “Power Lunch,” Goodman said it is the mark of sound management to scale back on staff when they’re not achieving, and most service personnel haven’t been managed for results.
Substituting lower paid people for those that are more experienced is not inherently problematic, says Goodman, who defines excellence in management as “Getting extraordinary results from ordinary people,” apparently Circuit City’s intention as well as that of other organizations that are trying to boost profits.
Circut City
Goodman did point out it is critical to train all people in service skills so they know how to make customers “thank them profusely, sing their praises, and recommit their business,” which is explicitly pledging to come back time and again.
These three outcomes comprise the signature of customer satisfaction, according to the President of Customersatisfaction.com, and long time consultant to the Fortune 1000.
“Sales work is goal oriented,” he says, and “Service work should be focused just as much, while being monitored, measured, and managed for results.”
Most service training, according to Goodman is misguided, muddled, vague, and sappy.
Goodman is a frequent guest on radio and TV internationally, and is quoted in prominent publications such as Business Week and The Wall Street Journal.
Dr. Gary S. Goodman is the best-selling author of 12 books and more than a thousand articles. His seminars and training programs are sponsored internationally and he is a top-rated faculty member at more than 40 universities. Dynamic, experienced, and lots of fun, Gary brings more than two decades of solid management and consulting experience to the table, along with the best academic preparation and credentials in the speaking and training industry. Holder of five degrees, including a Ph.D. from the Annenberg School For Communication at USC, an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker School of Management, and a law degree from Loyola, his clients include several Fortune 1000 companies along with successful family owned and operated firms across America. Much more than a “talking head,” Gary is a top mind that you'll enjoy working with and putting to use. He can be reached at: gary@customersatisfaction.com

My Favorite Places To Get Discount Coupons For Circuit City - Circut City
Circut City
I was on a mission to buy some high ticket items the other day when a friend told me about some discount coupons for Circuit City.
I looked at them, and then decided to find all the places where you can get Circuit City rebates and discount coupons.
Here is what I found:
You can go to ebay and look for Circuit City coupons and find a lot of deals. I found the ones that were free were useless, but the ones that are a fraction of the savings are real and a very good deal.
There are also some online sites that have the coupons, but they are attached to conditional offers (you have to sign up for something or other before you get the coupon).
Then there are a few discount clubs that have discounts on Circuit City. I only had time to join a few of them, but the one I really like was called MWP, and it gave savings of 10% on purchases of $199 or more.
There were some very fine print for this discount, so here are the terms:
"Offer excludes gaming consoles, notebook and desktop computers, Xbox 360, Panasonic Plasma TV’s, Verizon, Sharper Image, Infinity, Velodyne, Bose , Polk, HP MP3 players, Apple, Kicker, MTX Thunder, Sony XBR TV’s, LG, Akai, ESA, KEF, firedog, Outlet and Circuit City GC purchases, delivery fees, shipping charges and sales tax not included in total purchase calculation. Coupon code valid online, in-store, or at 1-800-593-4391. Barcode valid in-store only. Not combinable with select Circuit City offers. Not redeemable for cash. Void where prohibited or restricted. Price matching not available on-line. See store for details. This offer is subject to change at anytime and subject to black-out dates."
Circut City
I used the MWP membership to save $200 on my stereo purchase, so I was extremely pleased by that. If you plan on spending some cash at Circuit City in the next year or so, I'd recommend you check out MWP.
Jack Sinclair buys a lot of gear at Circuit City, and loves the
discount coupons he gets with his MWP membership.

The world has changed and the needs of the college student have changed as well. It used to be that plenty of paper, pencils, notebooks and highlighters were all that you needed to be prepared for college. But in today’s fast paced technological world much more is needed to be successful.
Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Laptop Computer
Today's college student needs the portability of a laptop, the desktop just doesn't cut it anymore. But, many of the features included in a laptop are not absolutes and are negotiable. Different students will require different memory, graphics and accessories.
DVD R/RW
CD-RW
Wireless
4 USB Ports
Preferred brands: Compaq, HP, Dell and Toshiba.
Recommended stores: Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, Circuit City and online.
Price Range: $499 - $1299
1 or 2 - 1GB USB jump drives 2.0
Although the USB jump drives don’t have to be 1 GB, it’s a nice size to begin with and having two will be very handy. The USB drives are going to be very useful for transferring data from one place to another and will allow you to take information without taking the whole computer.
Preferred brands: Lexar, PNY
Recommended stores: Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, and Circuit City.
Price Range: $39 - $79
MP3 Player
An mp3 player is one of the newest study tools and has many uses. The most important use is the ability to record lectures and then listen to them anywhere. You can also download music, data and videos. The possibilities are endless.
Preferred brands: Sansa, Apple iPod, Samsung, Phillips and Zune.
Recommended stores: Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, and Circuit City.
Price Range: $39 - $349
Note: If the budget can afford it, go for one that can download video.
Scientific Calculator
If you are going to study science, mathematics or pre-med you will need a scientific graphing calculator. Don't waste your time with plain calculators or other scientific calculators. You need a graphing calculator. The best graphing calculators for the money are the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus.
Recommended stores: Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, Staples and ebay.
Price Range: $79 - $199
The above items will also require certain accessories such as blank CD’s and DVD’s. You will want to get a good laptop case or carrier for transporting your computer. Also, you may want to get a laptop mouse if you have trouble using a touch pad.

Circuit City - Circut City
Circut City
This is a Fortune 200 company which has been on business for 50 years and has about $10 billion worth of sales. It boasts of 40,000 associates. This company is based in Richmond, Virginia and is the third largest dealer in electronic goods just after Best Buy and Wal – Mart. The Company has 600 stores all over the country with segregated sections for camcorders, Video, Music and toys, Home and Office etc.
The store also provides its customers a 24-24 pick up guarantee. This also has an envious computer services department that provides services both at home and at the store. It can easily repair and upgrade computers and check all miscellaneous software too. This department is the very reason why the store has been able to delve into the mainstream repairing field without having to look for boutique shops etc.
A new code for Circuit city has started being used for stores called Gen C. These stores are managed on an altogether different pattern compared to the traditional stores and have a relaxes feel about it with less concentration on profit numbers. These stores are managed by associates and a lot of experimentation goes on in them before the experiments are also launched in the wide chain too.
An engineer who had thought of the name circuit city had been paid 50 dollars for using his brains to think of this name. Circuit City has many hugely popular slogans for instance ‘Where service is State of the Art’,’ Price selection and service’, ‘Imagine that’, ‘Just What I needed’, ‘We are with you’, ‘Circuit City Makes it simple’.
There are many brand names that are owned by circuit city like Centrios, ESA, Liquid Video, Verge, NexxtTech, Star Logic, Sector7, etc. Circuit City has also experimented with ebay consignment stores under the name Trading Circuit. Car Marx was owned and managed by Circuit City till 2002 when it was launched as a separate corporation.
Finding hot deals for your shopping at circuit city.com is not at all a difficult task. One can easily check out the discount schemes offered at the site, like you can get up to 15% off on electronic products, or can save 10% on given models of fax machines, voice recorders and calculators.
Even the mp3 players and iPods can be purchased at much lower prices, for the discounts offered at the site is surely going to save what you would have invested otherwise in buying the stuff otherwise.
Not only this, the site offers discounts o shipping as well. It gives you free shopping for any order that is greater than $25, so that now you can purchase all you have looked for without paying anything additional.

Reason for Success of Ipod - Circut City
Circut City
Ipod has become famous among all age groups. Apple iPod has become the major need for all the funky and young kids. Guys who are in music profession will surely owe one of the different iPod or sometimes more than one.
The demand for iPod is increasing every day. Apple iPod has today become synonymous with the term MP3 player. Apple could analyze the lack of digital music player and launched a hard drive based Mp3 player in late 2001. This model was titled as Ipod which had classy and striking looks. The iPod earphones has its own identification and is always been blamed for majority of street robberies.
Even a normal iPod can store multiple music. It was an achievement from the beginning, but the truth that it was only Mac compatible held back sales slightly, although Apple did in fact see an augment in sales of Apple Macs due to populace wanting to be able to make use of the IPods.
In 2003, the sales boosted even high with the launch of new version of IPod i.e. with iTunes software, that was well-suited on both Macs and Windows PCs. Apple IPod enjoys 90% of the market were as normal MP3 player just shares 70% market as whole.
By launching several versions of MP3 players meeting all the technological advancements Apple has made themselves shine in the world. The latest models display photos and videos as well. Some also give the option to store official hard copy of the documents. iPod mini, iPod nano and iPod shuffle are the three most needed model among individuals. All the three meet the same purpose.
iPod Mini - Apple's first iPod by-product was the iPod mini. This product was quite smaller but almost similar to the original one. This iPod was obtainable in many colors and was planned to target unusual market.
iPod Nano: in year 2005 apple made an decision to discontinue sales of IPod mini. This iPod mini was replaced by iPod nano. They are smaller than the mini players and feature colored screens. Apple has come under some censure though for the screens on the nano as many customers have criticized that they damage too easily.
iPod shuffle: The introduction of first flash drive based iPod began with iPod shuffle. The capacity of these iPod is very limited around 512 MB or 1 GB is available in the market. It doesn't have any display screen. One can easily listen song through it in a random order or can set a playlist in iTunes.
The recently launched cars are intended with wharfing ports to make integrating iPods to the in car system easier. Trendy clothes are designed with a special pocket to hold the iPod. Well, other iPod with wonderful facilities are still available in the market but of-course not as fashionable as apple.

Enterprising SaaS - Circut City
Circut City
The good folks at Gartner shocked me recently when they reported that SaaS was eating a larger hole in enterprise budgets, now accounting for about $4.2B in spending, and growing at a 22.3% clip.
Many folks, myself included, predicted some enterprise SaaS uptake, mainly filling in areas where IT was backlogged or where renting services was faster and cheaper than implementing something behind the firewall. By this criteria, any SaaS offering that supported:
Smaller groups of people — not enterprise wide
In distributed areas
Where collaboration was required
… would be a hit. Sure enough Gartner observed “SaaS adoption is highest in applications that support simplified, common business processes or large, distributed virtual workforce teams.” This explains how SalesForce.com can attract enterprises — CRM is not a universal, corporate-wide function. But people who need access to CRM data are far-flung, especially sales types who know the desk clerk at the Butte Holiday Inn better than they know their own wives (what happens in Butte stays in Butte … thankfully).
Most interesting in Gartner’s blurb was this little gem:
“Ease of use, rapid deployment, limited upfront investment in capital and staffing, plus a reduction in software management responsibility all make SaaS a desirable alternative to many on-premises solutions, and they will continue to act as drivers of growth.”
If you want to find a market to exploit, examine it from the customer pain-and-dread perspective first. Has enterprise software traditionally been difficult to use (often), slow to deploy (always), capital intensive (typically), and costly to maintain (yep)? No wonder SasS is finding traction — it eliminates most primary disgruntling elements.
Oddly, Circuit City and CarMax are good examples of how this marketing principle works. When Circuit City evolved out of an outfit named WARDS (and not Montgomery Wards I’ll add), they decided to examine the consumer electronics retail industry, and asked people what they hated about it. What buyers disliked most were small selections, lack of sales support, poor customer service, and high prices. Circuit City engineered all of that out of their offering. This is why Circuit City grew so rapidly throughout the 1980’s — because people liked shopping there. And yes, Circuit City sells a lot of TVs.
CarMax, a company conceived and born from Circuit City, did the exact same thing — surprise. They asked people what they hated about buying a used car, and the drivers listed small inventories, slimy and pushy sales people, haggling, no warranties for “lot lemons”, etc. CarMax engineered all of this out of their business model, providing huge lots, hundreds of cars, pre-inspections and warranties, and so on. And yes, they sell a lot of cars.
Anyone marketing high-tech should start with the approach, because high-tech is especially prone to navel-gazing product introspection. High tech also tends to focus on the feature/benefit side of product creation and not customer experience deficit reduction. Enterprise traction for SaaS is almost an accidental byproduct of serving the needs of the masses who reflect and articulate pain vocally. For all the marketing mavens in the audience, the take-aways are these:
Survey broadly
Ask what people hate in open-ended fashion
Deep interview to discover “why” they are unsatisfied
First eliminate your corporate procedures that create customer unhappiness
Design products with pain reduction as well as expected outcomes in mind
This is why SalesForce.com, WebEx, and other SaaS players are the CarMax’s of the high tech world.

Getting The Most From Your Broadband Connection - Circut City
Circut City
So you signed up for your broadband connection which probably is DSL or Cable. Computer's all hooked up and the web pages are loading faster than ever before! Life is good on the information highway, but along comes a second desktop PC or laptop. Now what??? Easy! Just go online or down to your local electronics store like Bestbuy or Circut City and pick up a wireless router.
My personal favorite is D-Link, but Linksys, Buffalo, and Netgear will also do the job quite well. Once you get your wireless router it's time to set it up. From your DSL modem or Cable modem there will be an ethernet cable that plugs into the back of your PC into a ethernet port. Remove that end and plug it into the "WAN" port or "Internet" port on the back of your wireless router.
Next there should be another ethernet cable in the box that the router came in. Plug that into port one in the back of the wireless router(D-Link) and the other end into the ethernet port of your PC just like it was before you bought the router. Follow the setup wizard that walks you through making the connection plus securing the connection from unwanted intruders. Also if you do have a laptop chances are you'll see something pop-up on your desktop saying something like "wireless network detected". Whichever you have you'll now be able to share that broadband connection with your family.
You can find out more information at my two websites:
http://www.dsl-cable-broadband.com
http://dsl-cable-broadband.blogspot.com/
I've worked at an ISP/WISP for over 7 years now. I enjoy working with computers and setting up wireless networks. The longest wireless link I've made was 46 miles for a local TV station.

Circut City - My Favorite Places To Get Discount Coupons For Circuit City
